NOTICE TO THE RESIDENTS AND TAXPAYERS OF DISTRICT TOWNSHIP, BERKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Notice is given that the Board of Supervisors of District Township, Berks County, PA, will hold a public hearing, followed by a special meeting of the Board of Supervisors on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the District Township Building located at 202 Weil Road, Boyertown, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the public hearing is to inform the public and receive public testimony concerning an Ordinance entitled: “District Township Zoning Ordinance of 2018.” At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Board will immediately convene the special meeting and intends to take action and adopt this same Ordinance. The full text of the Ordinance and Zoning Map may be examined without charge, or copies may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof, at the District Township Municipal Building during office hours of Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM or by appointment with the Township Secretary, (610) 845-7595. 2018 MEETING SCHEDULE NOTICE:The District Township Board of Supervisors Business Meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month for the year 2018. The District Township Planning Commission Business Meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month for the year 2018. The District Township Environmental Advisory Committee will hold their business meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month for the year 2018 (unless that Monday is a holiday, then the meeting will be the following Monday). The District Township Recreation Committee will hold their quarterly meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of March, June, September, and December for the year 2018.
