What's New in District Township

 

Zoning Hearing Board considers Ziegenfuss challenge to the procedural validity of 1989 District Township Ordinance and 1999 District Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, related to the proposed use of the property located at 309 Treichler Rd. for a eighty-six (86) single family residential unit modular park.

Hearing has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Township Building

Now available for all District Township Residents: Internet access is now available at the District Township Municipal Building for all residents that would like to "surf the net." Stop by during normal Office hours (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 11:15am to 4 pm.) and the Municipal Secretary will be happy to help you get started. Also available are software packages to help you complete a report, letter, publication, etc. that you may need to create. If you are wireless-ready, you may use District Township's Internet service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! As long as your laptop is approximately within 500' of the Municipal Building, you can log on. The SSID is broadcast as "districttownship." Please note that for security purposes, all web access is logged, per user, per time. Thank you and enjoy!

New Playground Equipment Summer 2005: Come to Gordon Park and have some fun on District Township's latest piece of playground equipment! The kids are sure to enjoy the spiral slide, monkey bars, crawl-through tunnel, and more. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped with the installation!!!
